Chicago’s own Gold Haze is a rapper and producer that has taken faith based leaps through the music scene. Collaborating with artists such as Femdot, Ausar, G Herbo, and Timbaland, Gold Haze has made his way in the music scene with inspirational, and soulfully inspired production.
Since Highschool, Gold Haze has been inspired by producers such as WondaGurl, Hit Boy, and Lex Luger, who all inspired his appreciation for great sounds and styles of production. Haze is not only a producer, but also one half of a rap group, RIch Vi$ion, who released their first collaborative single in June of last year. Haze mentioned, “I learned a lot about myself as far as just using everything around me just to grow from it. I really learned my purpose in the last two to three years not only as a producer, but as a man.” Along with Haze’s amazing skill on the Maschine, he has established a very strong presence on Twitter with a solid combination of inspirational quotes, advice, and awe-inspiring visuals of Haze creating soulful beats to display. As his network of collaborators and co-signers expands, Haze has found a way to create a world around his beats and draw a crowd that adores a nostalgic, soul filled sound with ambitious, larger-than-life drum work to accompany it.
As anxiously as we wait for more of what Haze has to bring into the world with his sound following his notable works such as “Switch It Up” by G Herbo & Pooh Shiesty, and “Unified” by Vic Mensa, Joey Purp, and KAMI, it helps to know we can look forward to more great collaborations from Gold Haze and plenty more great visuals on social media going forward.
