Since we last spoke with Tai, his hit song has been used in over 1.5 million TikTok videos and has over 18 million streams on Spotify, racking up over 1.6 million monthly listeners. To give some context on how much he has grown in the past two months, when we last interviewed him he had only 4 million streams and 500k monthly listeners.
Ever since I heard “DRUGS”, I was constantly shuffling through my notes to play the file almost every day. It was that good. Now everyone gets to hear this amazing song. Tai’s down to earth persona really emulates throughout his music. Between Stuck in the Middle and Drugs, he takes you on this lyrical journey through his relatable usage of words. Everything that he puts into his music is so real and true to himself and it’s very evident. He’s one of a kind.
