Stoic has done it again, producing another amazing song, 'Julia,' which was just released. This track features the talented Jabu Graybeal and shows off Stoic’s production capabilities very well. Coming out of New York City, Stoic has a unique style that he describes as a blend of old and new school hip-hop. However, this blend contains not just hard, but also pretty sounds, and if that doesn't make sense, then give his songs a listen and you will immediately hear how smooth the beat feels even though they have a hardcore tone to them. Stoic gives credit for his style, citing influences from Tyler, the Creator, Alchemist, Kaytranada, Madlib, and J Dilla. Even with his influence's popularity, Stoic still provides a very unique beat that has an extremely high production quality. This upcoming, verified producer is one to keep an eye on.
As mentioned previously, Stoic’s latest production “Julia” is a beautiful love song rapped by Jabu Graybeal. The blend between the old school beat and the new school sound makes for a great combination that made me save the song within seconds of hearing it. Keep an eye on Stoic this month because he is about to drop his new track “Last Day Being Broke.” This was self-described as a “groovy-ass beat” and I, for one, cannot wait to see what's in store for us on this new release. “Last Day Being Broke” will feature the rapper Reyan, highlighting some East Coast bars which are just one of the many new songs I am looking forward to hearing. If you haven’t already, give Stoic a listen and let us know what you think of this producer!
