TaeTaeTae is one of South Florida's hidden gems. Growing up in Harlem, Florida, a small town with not much to do or see, ironically, exactly the opposite of the hot bed of talent that is Miami. Tae has dropped countless songs and has recently begun making his way into streaming platforms. Inspired by early 2000’s R&B and soul, he mixes his love of Hip/Hop and rap music. Resulting in a unique blend of natural melodies and cadence, screaming versatility, additional to his use of storytelling from reflecting upon his upbringing. Mainly, he seeks inspiration from artists such as Drake, YNM Melly, Young Thug, and Future. With the ability to adapt to different situations and environments, Tae addresses many different topics in his music. Mainly preaching to his audience that music has no boundaries by color or sound. After getting to speak with Tae he stated understanding the increasing racial tension, “but music shouldn’t be that way. A white person can listen to a black artist and know every word and vice versa”. Releasing his newest project of 2022, EP’ “Love Is”, to which hearing his dynamic sound would make angels jealous. Tae has been in talks with a few indie labels who love his sound. But something particularly exciting is coming…a collaboration with Roc Nation, which is definitely something special to look out for.
